Business & Government in a Global Context-Free-Sample for Students

Question: Given the Complex and Difficult Problems posed by Global Warming, what is the appropriate response to Climate Change by Government and Business? Answer: The paper talks about global warming and its implications on the business environment by taking a case study of Australian Motor Company. It explains the problem faced by the company due to global warming and how seriously it is harming the companys atmosphere and how it is affecting the lives of people working in the organization. The essay describes the strategies that company adopts in order to overcome such issue of the environment. Global Warming is also referred as Climate change. Global warming refers to increase in Earths temperature due to the effect of the greenhouse which gives birth to greenhouse gases. Nowadays the problem of global warming has become a serious problem in the business sector. The ecological issue and social issues have become a problem for the company in destroying the lives of employees. The issue of global warming faced by Australian Motors is really big challenges for the company. The surface of the earth is becoming hot and burns by trapping the heat coming from the sun which is increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide. The increase in population leads to increase the demand for the employees. Moreover, increasing demand for the company fulfills each need of the employees that causes a release of various greenhouse gases through the industrial process that takes place in Australian Motors. This gives rise to the earths temperature. This rise in temperature released by different types of gases has increased in recent years. Carbon dioxide gas is released by Natural and industrial processes. The methane gas is released by the organic materials like anaerobic decomposition. Other greenhouse gases which are released are halocarbons, chlorofluorocarbons, chlorine, nitrous oxide etc. These greenhouse gases combine and collect in the environment and disturb the radioactive atmospheric balance (Cook et al, 2013). Another main reason of Global Warming seen in Australian Motors is with respect to reduction in the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects the surface of the earth by stopping the harmful rays of sun that come on the earth. The decline in the layer could be seen over the passing years. The ozone layer is giving rising to gas such as chlorofluorocarbon which is harmful to the company. Now it has become a big reason of global warming. This has become a major cause for employees who are working in the organization (Peters et al, 2013). The main cause of global warming seen in Australian Motors is due to the presence of aerosols in the surroundings which also gives rise to a temperature of earths surface. These atmospheric aerosols affect the condition of the company by causing cooling down the planet and absorbing the solar and infrared radiation that makes the air and climate warm. This makes it hard for the employees to do work in the organization having such atmosphere (Dai, 2013). The burning of fossil fuels either by man or nature also causes global warming. It increases the CO2 level in the atmosphere of the business which suffocates the employees. The most important cause of global warming is a human being. The vehicles are used by them cause a lot of pollution and give rise to the issue of global warming. The demand for vehicles is increasing day by day. Hence it becomes difficult for the company to stand on the demands of the customers as well as the environment. Since the company is a car manufacturing company it has to take care about the amount of pollution generated by the product. The company uses gasoline in making the product. This causes emission of carbon dioxide gas which suffocates the environment. They are several recommendations has been given to manufacturing more effective and efficient engines in their vehicles so that the emission of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can be reduced to some extent. The use of gases while making the product has become a big challenge to the global warming (Trenberth et al, 2014). Another main cause of global warming is deforestation i.e cutting down of trees and increasing population. Deforestation which causes cutting of plants from the earths surface disturbs the natural carbon cycle. Plants take away carbon dioxide gas and utilizes it to make food through water, sunlight and carbon dioxide but as plants are cutting down so carbon dioxide is getting more and more and the oxygen which humans and animals need for survival is decreasing day by day which in turn causing global warming and making lives difficult for humans and animals. The other cause of global warming which relates to the industrial sector is increasing in the demand of technologies are AC, refrigerator, electric machines, automobiles, washing machines, and microwave. All these resources somehow give its contribution to the global warming (Kahan et al, 2012). The company can reduce the issues of global warming by using many possible ways. The company can improve the quality of fuel, it uses while manufacturing. The fuel can be energy efficient i.e. it should produce less energy which will cause lesser pollution to the environment. The ways by which the issue of global warming can be reduced by the company are (McGlade and Ekins, 2015): By increasing hydrogen that is produced from renewable resources. By increasing solar and wind power. By increasing the use of biofuels produced by the crops. Such factors reduce the issues of global warming. The process of carbon sequestration is also useful in capturing carbon dioxide gas that is emitted by using fossil fuels. It can be stored and saved underground (Baker, Peterson, Brown, and McAlpine, 2012). Each and every company faces difficulties in making business. The government has to intervene in the technology-based industry as it depends on the government what kind of technology it should use. There is a number of options that can be used to reduce such climate (Abbott, 2012). Government should take some steps towards reducing global warming such as, Vehicles like low floor buses should be banned by the government as it emits a lot of gas which gives rise to global warming. Banning of vehicles will help the government in controlling the amount of pollution made by the vehicles. The gas emitted by such buses makes the air polluted and harms the environment badly (Bulkeley and Castn Broto, 2013). The government should limit the resources used by the company in order to generate products. The resources used by the company harms the society in various forms. Hence limiting the resource could help the government in utilizing it for further development and benefiting the company by thinking more in manufacturing the product. The government should demand the company to produce emission more of low emission vehicles than those which consume a lot of energy (Gouldson and Murphy, 2013). The government should impose rules on the automotive companies to invest more in eco-friendly techniques and products so that they can become more sustainable The government can offer generous incentives for the production of low emission vehicles and the electric cars so that this kind of vehicles will be produced more and pollution will automatically be controlled (Berkhout, 2012). The business environment of the company has to face a lot of risk due to the rising of greenhouse gases. This changes the climate and policies made by the company. The implication of such changes of climate shows the companys potentiality of working. The impact of those changes could result in consumers and marketers. And these results could also be seen in the cost of production of past and the future. Since the problem of global warming has raised. This kind of planning has become a factor of risk for the automobile companies such as Australian Motors (Bae and Feiock, 2013). The difficult factors that the business face due to the change in climate makes it hard for the company to fulfill the demands of its consumers as well as marketers. The change in temperature, patterns of precipitation and other social effects are some changes that company has to deal with. Potential risks are the risks which are mainly associated with the business firms and the opportunities which are regulated through greenhouse gases. The risks are seen because of the changing relationships between human beings towards business. This affects the growth of the business in the market. The reason behind the physical impact of the change that could be seen in the business environment is the lack of water availability. The other reason that leads to the physical impact is the change in weather conditions in a continuous manner. Global warming can affect the managing of the ecosystem measured and evaluated while practicing business activities. The impact can result in making wrong human and health relations. The step to decide whether these changes should be accepted or not is considered to be one of the major steps taken by the business firm in order to understand that why these changes occur or the reason behind their occurrence. The first major step taken by the business to understand the occurrence of such changes is the first step considered in deciding whether to accept those changes or not (Sheng, Zhou and Li, 2013). The time that is required by the workers to get engaged safely and complete different tasks such as roofing is not available to them if there is high temperature and this gives rise to the difficulties in their work. Such changes can help in building new opportunities for making the new products in order to reach to its customers at maximum level. The risks that relate to the change in climate can give rise to new business opportunities that are developed from superior management. The important factor of working in the business organization is planning according to the weather. Australian Motor Company choose to work mainly in the areas where the climate does not change frequently. The issue of global warming makes the business produce less in the areas where business has to deal with the risk relating to climate (Taiwo, Ayodeji and Yusuf, 2012). The step to reduce the global warming is not only taken by the company but also by people itself. Industrializing is a need to get bread and butter but it is the main factor which causes global warming. Everyone should take small steps to make a better future. We are responsible for managing the amount of heat produced by greenhouse gases by using the solar energy. This enables in saving electricity as well (Bratton and Gold, 2012). The interference of government in the business can have various aspects that relate to contrasting features of global warming. These factors of risks are generally maintained and managed by the government. The policies of controlling the risk factor that occurs because of the change in climatic factors are also maintained by the government. This reduces the risk that the business faces when the government interferes in the business of the companies. The responsibility of government, therefore, becomes very important. The charge of such policies to maintain the climatic condition of the business is given to the government. The risks that relate to the problems of the business are seen by allowing the government to interfere in the business matters (Doran and Ryan, 2012). The insurance markets are benefited by the government through the framework of how to operate a business in order to gain profits and revenue within the organization. The outcome of the economic factors could be seen by the influence which the insurance market possesses. Such disasters when threatening the existence of a company they put the government under pressure. The large residents of the society get the major help when the government faces social pressure as this makes them work according to their own demands (Poynter, 2012). On the above discussion, it has been concluded that the paper is based on problems which are imposed by the global market. The paper also talks about the issues and implications of global warming faced by the automobile industries. It gives an idea how the company stand in front of the global warming and earns a profit by producing more and more products for selling. The report is a clear picture of the issues faced by the company while dealing with the environmental problem which affects the business environment badly. The above information relates with the working of automobile company of Australia named as Australian Motor Company, as mentioned. The effects of global warming and what causes global warming is also shown in the report which talks about what issue it brings to the company as well as society. Therefore, the government and other people must try to evaluate and efficiency of the employees in order to maximize the effciencyy and effectivnees References Abbott, K.W., 2012.
